Noah's SECOND 1st Birthday Party

Noah had a big day on Halloween.  He had his second birthday party (still one more to go on Thanksgiving) and also had Halloween!  He went to church Sunday morning and lasted through about half of the service.  He is just too busy to sit through the sermon, and I'm just not ready to put him in the nursery either.

After church and a nap, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Burt's house for cake, ice cream, and presents.  Noah was more impressed with the wrapping paper than the presents of course.  He got lots of cool gifts though and has been playing with all of them.

After all the presents, it was time for CAKE!  We had two different cakes.  One for all of us to eat and one for him to eat/demolish.  He ended up digging his hands into both cakes though.

(He even offered to share.)

After the cake, he had to have a bath and another nap, then it was time for trick-or-treating.  We went back up to Grandma's house.  He went there and to two of their neighbors' houses.  He was a hit with everyone who saw him.  Our cute little tiger.

When we left Grandma and Grandpa's house, we had to stop by Ga-Ga, Missy, and Co-Co's house (Gary, Melissa, and Colby).  Noah got a treat from them and enjoyed watching some of the neighborhood kids trick-or-treating.

At the end of the night, he was a tired boy and fell asleep around 8:30 and slept until almost 10:00 the next morning.

Today I took him for his twelve month doctor's appointment.  Poor baby had to get a finger stick and six shots in his legs.  He wasn't too happy with that.  He is now 22 pounds 2 ounces (38th percentile) and 30 inches long (56th percentile).  The doctor said he is perfect and perfectly proportioned.  Doctor also said "he's come a long way in six months!"  We already knew that though.
