More deals!!

I just returned from an awesome trip to Wal-Mart and CVS. Here is what I got at Wal-Mart...

Vlasik Dill Pickles (46 oz) -- on sale for $1.78 - $1.00 q = $0.78
Hot Dogs -- $0.68 - $0.25 q = $0.43
Vlasik jalapeno peppers (16 oz) - $1.82 - $1.00 = $0.82
Zantac -- $4.23 - $5.00 = -$0.77 overage!
Juicy Juice - (they forgot to charge me for this, but took $1.00 coupon off. Just noticed that.)
Gold Bond lotion - travel size -- $0.97 - 1.00 = $0.03 overage
Greased Lightening cleaner (32 oz) -- $2.47 - $1.25 = $1.22
3 Kool-aid packets - $0.18 each (Kraft product)
16 oz can of Planters Cocktail peanuts - $2.68 - $3.00 (buy nuts & 3 kraft products) = $0.32 overage
Bertolli Premium Pasta sauce = $2.12 - $1.00 = $1.12
Purina Cat Food (3.5 pounds) = $4.33 - $4.00 = $0.33!!
Kashi Granola bars - $2.67 - $2.00 = $0.67
HP Printer Paper (500 sheets) = $4.74 - $3.00 = $1.74

My total before coupons was around $40
Total out of pocket was $8!!!

I got:

2 Colgate Toothpaste
2 Trident Xtra Gum
1 Excedrin Migraine (24 ct)
1 Gas-X Thin Strips (18 ct)
1 Gas-X Soft Gel Tabs (20 ct)
1 Maalox Chewables (65 ct)
1 Snickers Bar

My total before coupons, ECBs, and sales was $61.13
I used about $22 in ECBs.
Total Out of pocket was...........22 cents!

I also got $11 ECBs back for next time!

So, there should be no flatulence, headaches, or heartburn at my house for a while!

Okay, now you have to tell us how to do this. We just went to target to get pull-ups and left with $75 worth of stuff that we just swore we couldn't live with out (including a huge floppy frizbee for outside play). :) We will certainly need to learn how to start saving pennies for the adoption, and would love to know your secrets. How do we get started?
