Coupons

I have had several people e-mail me and ask me how I am saving so much money and where I get my coupons. Since we don't really have a lot of adoption news during the wait, I am going to turn this blog into an adoption/bargain hunting blog.

A lot of my coupons come from the Sunday paper, but a lot are printed right from the internet from coupons.com. I am making this really easy for you to get these coupons. All you have to do is look to your right and scroll down a little bit. Do you see the coupons.com box? These are coupons that you can print right from my blog! At first glance, you can only see one or two coupons, but if you click on "See all coupons" at the top of the box, it will bring up a new box that will list every coupon available from coupons.com! Now, if you see a coupon that you think is remotely something you might use in the future, print it!! You never know how long that coupon will be available, so don't wait until you are out of that product to print it. Check back often too because coupons.com changes what is listed periodically. So, remember to click from here to print.

Here's another little pointer. If you are a Kroger shopper, you can have electronic coupons loaded to your Kroger card. All you need to do is go to here and register your Kroger card number so it knows where to put the coupons. You can then choose which ones you want on your card, and print out a list of what you have so you can take it to the store with you. You can also go here, to load Proctor and Gamble coupons in the same manner. Here is the awesome part. Say Krogers has a 10 for $10 sale on Betty Crocker Fudge brownies and you have a coupon on your Kroger card for 50 cents off of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies. You can combine this with a manufacturers coupon that you get off the internet or out of the Sunday paper. So, if your paper coupon is for 50 cents, Kroger will double that giving you $1.00 off by using the paper coupons, plus you get 50 cents off by using your Kroger card. That makes a box of brownies on the 10 for $10 sale free plus 50 cents left over which will be taken off your total order. This really adds up if you have multiple items with e-coupons and paper coupons. This is how I got toilet paper and paper towels FREE recently!

So, that is my first pointer on coupons. Stay tuned for more to come!
