How do you spell relief??

I have been working diligently for two weeks to get Garland's doctor to finalize his physical forms. I sent specific instructions to them on how the forms had to filled out and tried to make it very easy by even including a sample form that I filled out with mock information. I called them every day this week to only get the reply that "He's just too busy to do that paperwork." Finally, yesterday I called and was told "he's too busy" so I asked if we could make an appointment to come in so that the doctor would have to do the paperwork. They said they wouldn't be able to see us for a week. I told the receptionist that this paperwork must be done before we can proceed with anything but she didn't seem to be too concerned.

So, I got off the phone with them, and instant messaged Jennifer (my sister) to tell her what was going on. About two minutes after I told her that, my phone rang and it was the doctor's office. They said that the paperwork IS done and that it HAS BEEN done for a week, but they just didn't know it was done. So, they said to arrange for the notary to come in to notarize the papers and we would be done! When I got back on the instant messenger to Jennifer, she said that she called and talked to them, and that was why they got on the stick to figure out what was going on.

I went to their office last night and met the notary. None of the papers were done correctly, so I re-did them myself and had the doctor sign them. What a relief to finally have that done.

One more thing to do, before our social worker can write the homestudy report. Yay!
