Still kicking!

Wow!  It has been a really long time since I posted!  Things have been crazy here this summer.  We listed our house for sale in April and it sold in less than a week.  We hadn't anticipated it selling so fast! We hadn't even thought about where we would move to.  After a frantic search and lots of thought, we decided to move a lot closer to Garland's job.  This was great for him and great for our house budget since we were paying over $400 a month in gas, but did put us almost an hour away from a lot of family.  We found an awesome house that was almost twice as big as our house in Minier.  It is only five years old...has a fenced-in yard, is in a nice subdivision, and only 20 minutes from Garland's job.  We moved in June and are really enjoying all the added space.

Noah especially loves the new house because he can RUN all over the place.  Our kitchen is kind of in the middle of the house and he runs through the kitchen, into the dining room, down the hallway, into the office, and back into the kitchen.  One day he did that 20 times in a row.  The child LOVES to run! Noah will be three in October!  So hard to believe!  We have started talking to him about going to school someday.  He always says "Will you ride the bus with me to school, mommy?"  He has major separation anxiety right now.  Just the thought of school makes him so distraught.  Luckily, he has a few more years.

Emma is doing great.  She is six months old today!  :(  It is going SO SO fast.  I don't want my baby to grow up!  She has two teeth now and is starting to sit on her own.  She is a great baby and rarely fusses unless her teeth hurt.

Here are some fairly recent pictures.

Ten Weeks Old...already!!!

I just can't believe it....Emma is already TEN weeks old.  I can't believe how fast time is flying.  It didn't seem to fly this fast when I was pregnant...I want it to slow down now!

Our little angel is such a good baby...and a MAJOR mommy's girl.  She loves to be held and snuggled.  She has huge smiles and is also starting to "talk".  At her doctor's appointment a few weeks ago, she was 10 pounds 5 ounces.  Since then, I'm sure she has gained at least a pound.  She's getting chubby little legs and has quite the belly.

Noah is doing good and we are coming up on our two-year famiversary!  It's so hard to believe.  Two years ago today, we arrived in Ethiopia.  These past two years have been a whirlwind and we wouldn't trade it for the world.

Here are some recent pictures of the kids.  (Still feels strange to say "the kids"!)

Dressed for her "Welcome Shower" at church.

Best picture we could get of all of us.  Noah doesn't like to cooperate with group pics!

He LOVES his little sister.

Noah made bunny ears at Grandma's...and chocolate pudding.  Like his pink frilly apron?

Playing in the sand is serious business.

Emma's Easter "Basket"

One of Garland's coworkers gave us this Hummer.  We just had to replace the battery.
